Responsible to achieve key performance indicators of plant as per budget
Handling of IR and union related issues. Active participation in setting up productivity norms, negotiations and wage settlement
Direct and coordinate plant operations within company policy and procedures for Hose manufacturing unit
Communicate company values, strategies and objectives to employees by assigning achievable goals and targets.
Set up and achieve yearly Capex, Opex as well as Revenue Budget. Allocate resources, review progress along with mid-course correction if required
Inventory management and reduction to improve ITR, reduce obsolence and material variance
Drive and improve plant performance like productivity, quality , cost and delivery through effective and efficient use of resources, implementation of low cost automation, improve
output/man/shift, reduction in rejection, process control and adherence improvement monitoring.
Various cost controls like consumable, raw material cost, overtime cost, packaging cost, etc
Control implementation of various product and process change management for correctness.
Mentor and coach the team to enhance their capabilities & to develop talent within.
QMS, EHS system deployment and monitor the sustenance of the same on shop floor.
Handling various customer audits to improve upon new business development and quality rating
Capacity planning keeping in view of existing as well as new product.
Initiate facility procurement based on capacity planning.
Plant capacity utilization improvement, improve visual management of the shop floor
Implement various techniques like TPM, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Quality circle, SGAs
Monitoring and ensuring the upkeep of machine, tools, equipment, & JFTs
Process improvement to eliminate/reduce customer complaint, EOL/PDI defects, Inhouse line PPM through POKAYOKE approach.
Multi skilling of associates through TNI & arrangement of training for subordinates.
Active participation in the social & cultural event of company.
Responsible for 5S, Safety & security of employees & ensuring deployment of the safety rules, Company EHS framework, etc.
