Bonnet Components. My major roll in above projects is to modify & make Feasible CAD
data suitable for tool manufacturing with achieving product’s technical specification.
Provide design inputs based on benchmark study database, Creation of 2D drawings.
U-301 -
Tooling & Product feasibility of All Door Trims & its child parts, preparation of feasible
CAD data for mold manufacturing, U/s welding, Gap & Flush achievement and proper
fit & function, interaction with customer & get approved CAD data, tracking & releasing
of CAD data to tool maker.
Eliminated ultrasonic welding process by providing pivot type snap & hook design for
assembly of Armrest on Door Trim.
A surface modification & improved snap fit design in assembly of Door Grip Handle to
achieve Gap & Flush results as per specification.
Air Guide -
As per customer design there was 3 different parts of Air Guide get assemble by snap
fit design, during fitment trial, side hanging parts get disengage due to engine
vibration & fall down.
I have proposed live hinge concept to integrate 3 different parts in to one single
integral part. Eliminated two molds from process. Got appreciation from customer
W 105 -
Tooling feasibility & creation of feasible CAD data of Floor Console & its child parts,
Integration of storage bin & Structure support in to one part instead of two parts,
Proposal of Sliding Lid for storage Bin with constraint of compact space for design.
Proposed insert molding design for bezel brake handle lever. Plastic part used as insert
molding in EPDM mold, eliminated post molding assembly of two different parts.
Addition of ribbing pattern to improve part stiffness w.r.t. mold flow results.

Customer complaint of Cap removal from Roof Rail is resolved by improving Snap fit
engagement & Roof rail sagginess reduced by providing stiff design section
VW 250 & 251 Project -
Modification of all Pillar Trims and Rear Shelf CAD data of VW Vento & Polo according
to tooling feasibility. design of Inspection gauges & Fixture.

Proposals given for integration of D Pillar & Rear Quarter Trim, Product feasibility of all
interior trims, CAD modifications with VA/VE inputs to eliminate molding defects &
