Job Description

To Head the entire Sales Function both Domestic and International. Maximize sales and revenue generation by driving the sales team consisting of a mix of Sales Managers / Executives in India and Sales Agensts in EU & North America. Formulating the sales strategy and tactics and ensuring
quick response across the entire sales response to drive quick closure and ensure revenue maximisation, plant capacity utilisation and
profitability at the overall corporate level

Job Responsibilities

Marketing strategy
Work with Marketing to Plan and formulate the marketing and sales policies, objectives and initiatives.
Work with the Marketing Team on market segmentation and segment prioritisation for creating direct marketing
campaigns for lead generation, demand generation from the priority segments.
To understand the level of competition in different markets and do a competitive analysis to enable formulation of
strategies to counter them.
Represent our brand and drive strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and
industry trends.

Sales Planning & Forecasting
Formulate Annual Sales & Marketing Business Plan at a Company level.
Establish both annual and monthly sales objectives as per the Company's business plan for each product line and customer segments.
Use Sales Forecasting & Strategic Planning to ensure the sales and profitability of products.
Conceptualize & implement business strategies with a view to penetrate new Markets.

Market Intelligence
Keep abreast regarding new developments through various research and marketing tools to have a thorough grip on competitor information, customer preferences and new trends
Provide inputs to the design team on products so that they can incorporate the same
Track Domestic and International Market trends and dynamics with respect to machine suppliers / vendors for advocacy products to new customers.

Working capital Management and Gross
Follow up with the sales team to monitor dealer wise payment performance and to ensure that no. of days are not exceeding than the prescribed limit
Account Recievables - maintain all accounts recievables within prescribed limits and norms

Management and Gross margins
Analysis of ageing stocks and their liquidation planning and execution
Analysis of Product mix and product wise contribution to maintain the Gross Margin

Analytics / MIS
Design and Implement the daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly MIS for each product line
Review the sales team periodically and ensure corrective action at all levels
Submit MIS as per agreed format to the Leadership Team.
Share the insights, trends and actions planned with each report. Discuss possible opportunities and risk factors with the leadership team.

Operational Excellence
Constantly review productline performance to determine progress and status in attaining objectives, and revise objectives and plan in accordance with current conditions
