Job Profile:
The project Scope is to develop B-side surface and the mounting features of interiors such as centre console and instrument panel.
The input given from the customer was A surface. The input A Surface is joined together with a surface merging distance of 0.01. The created surface is checked for gaps and Surface continuity.
The project is also involved in designing of attachment features such as ribs, hinges, doghouses and boss etc.
The model is to be checked for tooling feasibility.
Creation of manufacturing drawing as per Costumers drawing standards.

Reverse Engineering of Body parts of Truck and Bus Assembly

Creation of 3 D models of BIW, plastics and casting components. The inputs are Cadam/Merit 2D drawings, and V4 models.
Parametric modeling maintaining a dimensional accuracy of about 0.01mm deviation from drawing.
DC methodology and DC standards were followed while generating models in Catia V5
Some of the components modeled are Door inner, Door outer, Pillars, reinforcement panels, Control arms, and Front cover etc.

Job Profile
Creation of Foam using STO following overbuild and under builds method for bolster surfaces. Creation of A Solid for aesthetics, Surfaces in this are created avoiding bumps and concavity. Checking for smoothness in surfaces using surface analysis.
Creation of B Solid to accommodate structure data in foam. Creation of A-B Solid by subtracting B Solid from A Solid, minimum thickness of 15mm is maintained in the foam. Checking for tooling feasibility and Draft Analysis. Defining Parting Lines as per Die draw direction.
