The goal of this project was to reduce the number of thermalators used on the IBM machine by 25% thus reducing energy, maintenance costs while stabilizing the process with less variables. Annual saving of $150,000.00 were accomplished.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities included the management of the day shift operation consisting of thirty-five employees and thirteen production lines. Secondary responsibilities included OSHA compliance training and safety training for all employees. Maintaining, upgrading & servicing the company’s payroll system.
Interface with Process Technicians to assure that machines are maintaining standards for cycle, material usage, and SPC criteria.
Perform weekly plant shutdowns i,e,: chiller system, air compressors, electrical systems, and securing of the facility.
Responsible for the training of all company employees on designated OSHA compliance issues.
Implemented guidelines for the safety committee in order to qualify for a 5% reduction on Workers compensation premiums.
