Job Profile :
Lead India innovation and activation projects for Deodrants & Male Grooming.
To provide design and packaging support to new ideas through interactions with internal and external partners like product dev team, design agencies, suppliers etc. This includes activities like prototype developments, mould development, primary and secondary packaging development, master batch development etc.
To optimize cost of existing packaging materials and develop new alternates. Initiate design changes, material changes, alternate suppliers, simplification etc.
To validate design developments wrt functionality, manufacturing feasibility, product-package compatibility etc. This requires good understanding of the product, processes and system. He should be able to develop in-house testing and validation test methods.
To work on new business requirements like new pack development, new colour developments, SKU packaging changes etc. via making prototypes, taking trials, artwork changes etc.
To develop new suppliers and to improve existing suppliers to meet the required standards of product quality prescribed by Unilever.
