M. Tech. Project: Weavability of Warp Yarn
A comparative study on weaving performance of different kind of yarns viz. dyed & undyed yarn both in sized & unsized condition & yarn of different raw materials at high speed in laboratory. This study helps to assess the performance of a particular yarn well in advance, which in turn helps to take right measures before running it on loom. We measured hairiness and stress-strain characteristics of each yarn and correlated them with individual weaving performance.
